Design Enhancement of Eductor for Active Vapor Transport and Condensation during Two-Phase Single-Species Flow

This study is focused on enhancing secondary vapor entrainment and direct-contact condensation in a water jet eductor for the purpose of developing compact, medium-scale desalination system. It encompasses an extended investigation as condenser, or heat exchanger, entrained phase. Exergy study, experimental measurement, computational analysis are primary methodologies employed this work. The target parameters optimization work were set through exergetic to identify region maximum exergy destruction. In case fluids, mixing initiates chamber where destruction was calculated. Therefore, multi-jet nozzle eductors studied determine effect increased interphase interaction area suction cooling capacities. Increases ratio, rate transfer coefficient noted increasing numbers nozzles when comparing one-, two- three-jet eductors.
